Job description

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounts receivable duties including cash management.
• Monitor the aging of receivables and follow-up on collections
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of transactions in the accounting system including processing of AR, receipts and posting journal entries.
• Review & process staff claims to ensure it is accurate and with supporting documents
• Send monthly statements of account to customers
• Preparation of bank reconciliations
• Assist in month-end closing of accounts
• Assist with GST filing, statutory financial statements and audit-related matters
• Any other duties / tasks assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 1-year of relevant experience
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team player attitude
