Job summary

A financial services firm located in Orchard, Singapore, is seeking an Accounts / Admin Assistant to support the accounts department in various tasks including bookkeeping and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Accounting, possess good communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of up to $2,700 plus performance bonus.

Qualifications

  • At least a Diploma in Accounting or relevant qualification.
  • 1 year of working experience preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to start work immediately or on short notice is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with skills in Pivot and VLOOKUP is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support accounts department in daily administrative work and documentation.
  • Prepare basic bookkeeping.
  • Perform data entry and manage general ledger postings.
  • Aid in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes.
  • Assist during internal and external audits.
  • Liaise with stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Function:

Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring a smooth workflow. Maintain attention to detail with numerical data and ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations in financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:
