Job summary

A leading water technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage vendor invoicing, payments, and daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will hold a recognized diploma in accountancy or ACCA and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. The role involves preparing financial reports and liaising with auditors and government agencies. This position requires strong initiative and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Experience in public listed companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vendor invoice verification and coding.
• Prepare vendor payments and handle staff claims.
• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and liaise with auditors.

Job description

Job Responsiblities

• Carrying out vendor invoice verification, coding, data entry, payment preparation and filing
• Prepare vendor payment
• Handle staff claims
• Prepare statement of accounts and follow up client payment
• Management of daily accounting operations
• Perform month-end closing of accounts
• Prepare monthly management financial report & quarterly GST submission
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers & company secretary.
• Assist in preparation of group accounts at corporate level
• Liaise with government agency such as ESG, PUB and other grant claim
• Ad hoc duty delegate by the management.

Job Requirements:

• Recognised Dipolma in accountancy/ ACCA
• Preferably 3 years experience in similar position
• Knowledge in public listed company will be an advantage
• High level of initiative & ability to work independently
• Meticulous and ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
