CCL Global are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work with an Oil & Gas Client in Singapore. The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team in managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with budgeting and reporting. In the robotics industry, this role also involves coordination with project teams on cost tracking, inventory accounting, and supplier payments related to robotic products and components.

Location: Singapore.

Type of Contract: Permanent Contract

Key Duties
  • Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and payment vouchers.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial data entry.
  • Support in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
  • Maintain and update accounting records in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
  • Assist in project cost tracking and expense allocation related to robotics products or R&D activities.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Commercial, Material, R&D & HR) on financial and billing matters.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, audit schedules, and tax submissions.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 1‑2 years of relevant experience; experience in a tech or robotics environment will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Odoo, MYOB).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of project accounting and inventory management in a manufacturing or technology setup.
  • Interest in robotics, automation, or emerging technologies.
