Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is looking for an Accountant to handle various accounting tasks and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should have at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma and one year of accounting experience. Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe are required. The candidate should be organized, able to work independently, and ready to start work on short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Handles partial accounts (A/R, A/P, invoicing).
  • Maintains & updating of accounting records.
  • Preparation & submission of monthly project progress claims to main contractor.
  • Evaluation and checking of main contractor’s payment certificate against project claim.
  • Finalization of final accounts with main contractor.
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding payments.
  • General Administrative duties.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
