Responsibilities include managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records in the ERP system, and assisting in financial statement preparation. The company seeks a reliable, meticulous, and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a wider regional team, working to ensure accounts are maintained and cashflow is balanced with the ultimate goal of contributing to the company’s operational efficiency and success.

Job Description
  • Maintain financial recording in the ERP program
  • Perform general entry bookkeeping
  • Maintains general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable details
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Assist Accountant in the preparation of monthly and yearly closing
  • Submit GST on behalf of the company
  • Manage cash flow, collections, and aging reports
  • Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
  • Inventory analysis
  • Maintain regular communication with manager and other staff and assist as needed
  • Assist local auditors when required
  • Support ad-hoc tasks when required
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
  • Minimum with 1 year of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience - including experience managing A/R, A/P, and performing basic accounting functions
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanour
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
