The Accounts Assistant supports daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance. This role is suitable for experienced individuals who value stability, structured processes, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, journal entries, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with GST submissions, audit preparation, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare basic financial schedules and reports for management or external accountants.
  • Maintain orderly filing of accounting documents (softcopy and hardcopy).
  • Carry out ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant accounting experience (flexible based on competency).
  • Practical knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Careful, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills and positive work attitude.
