Job summary

A leading oil trading company in Singapore is looking for a responsible accounts assistant to handle AP invoicing, employee reimbursements, and month-end closing duties. Candidates must have a diploma in accounting, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and are fluent in English. Immediate availability and Singaporean citizenship are preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years relevant experience.
  • Diligent, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Process AP invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile inter-company transactions.
  • Handle employee reimbursements.
  • Assist in month-end closing.
  • Maintain daily cash book and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of management reports.

Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel
Experience with SAP / Yonyou ERP
Positive working attitude
Multitasking ability

Education

CAT/LCCI/Diploma in Accounting
Job description

Chimbusco International Petroleum (Singapore) Pte Ltd was incorporated in year 2009 in Singapore, it is 100% subsidiary company owned by China Marine Bunker (PetroChina) Co. Ltd, whose shareholder are Cosco and Petrochina.

Our main business focus on international bunkering supply and oil trading. With strong support from shareholders and best qualified oil resources, we provide high grade and effective service to global clients.

Responsibilities
  • Process AP invoices and payments
  • Process reconciliation of inter-company transactions
  • Handling employee reimbursement
  • Handling partial sets of accounts and assist in month-end closing
  • Maintain/Update daily cash book and perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations
  • Administer all standing instructions and GIRO deductions
  • Assist in preparation of management reports
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • Min CAT/LCCI/Diploma in Accounting
  • Proficient in MS Office application, especially MS Excel
  • Experience with SAP / Yonyou ERP is an advantage
  • A team player with positive working attitude, responsible and able to work independently
Requirements
  • At least 2 years relevant experience
  • Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Diligent, Trustworthy and Reliable
  • Preferable to start work immediately or within short notice
