Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accounting Director to oversee our company’s accounting and financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing bookkeeping results, tax computations (including corporate income tax and GST), and financial statements. In addition, this role will play a key part in managing the finance team, providing staff training and guidance, and contributing to company management such as budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review bookkeeping, journal entries, and monthly closing results.
  • Review corporate income tax and GST computations.
  • Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff; provide ongoing training and professional development.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Support management in strategic financial decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in public accounting firms or audit firms.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
