Job summary

PwC Singapore is recruiting for an Associate in Accounting Services. You will support clients in managing accounting and compliance under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards or IFRS, delivering specialist advice on financial instruments, business combinations, pensions, and corporate governance.

You will work closely with our team to ensure timely delivery of statutory financial statements, accounting entries, and client liaison, while developing your accounting practice in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting with solid concepts.
• ACCA or pursuing ACCA / other accounting courses welcomed.
• Experience with full set of accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.
• Meticulous and organised.
• Knowledge of Sage 300 and Xero preferred.
• Final year Accountancy students welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform General ledger data entry
• Coding of Accounts Payables/Receivables invoices
• Prepare cheque payments and expense claim reimbursements
• Prepare statutory financial statements
• Coordinate and liaise with clients on day-to-day accounting matters and queries
• Managing client deliverables to ensure that agreed timelines are met.

Our team provides our clients with customised accounting services based on their needs and current Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (or International Financial Reporting Standards) guidelines. You’ll work with our team to provide specialist advice in areas such as financial instruments, business combinations, pensions and share schemes, corporate treasury, company secretarial and corporate governance.

About You

• Diploma / Degree qualification with solid accounting concepts
• ACCA graduate or those currently pursuing ACCA / other accounting related courses are welcomed to apply
• Experience in handling full set of accounts and compilation of statutory financial statements
• Good interpersonal skills and strong team player
• Must be meticulous, organised and possesses a flair for numbers
• Knowledge of the Sage 300 and Xero software is preferred.
• Final year Accountancy students from local and overseas universities are welcome to apply
