Overview

Our client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to support its financial operations. The primary responsibilities include accurately recording donations, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining comprehensive financial records to ensure accurate reporting and effective support of the organisation’s activities. This position reports to both the Deputy Finance Manager and the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Handling full set of accounts and preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Performing analytical review and variance analysis
  • Assist in audit, budget & reforecast
  • Preparation of reports for submission to government agencies
  • Routine accounting tasks such as posting of vendor invoices & processing payments for vendors, staff, and volunteer claims
  • Administration of fixed assets
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy or pursuing qualification in ACCA with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Possess good accounting knowledge and a keen interest in system and workflow enhancement
  • Proficient with accounting software, experience with Business Central and Jet Reporting would be a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Possess good time management skills
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Fast learner, meticulous, well-organised, able to work with speed and accuracy
