Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting & Administrative Specialist. This role requires not only comprehensive accounting management but also basic secretarial and administrative tasks, including company registration and permit applications. The ideal candidate should possess solid accounting expertise along with excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting Duties
  • Financial Management: Handle full sets of accounts, including voucher verification, ledger posting, and monthly/yearly closing.
  • Tax Compliance: Accurately prepare and timely submit GST returns to the IRAS, and manage corporate tax matters.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for management decision-making.
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable, follow up on customer payments, and manage supplier settlements.
Administrative & Secretarial Duties
  • Company Registration: Submit new company registration applications to ACRA, act as company secretary, and handle subsequent corporate changes.
  • Permit Applications: Assist with the application and renewal of various passes (e.g., Work Pass, EntrePass).
  • Daily Administrative Support: Manage basic office administrative tasks, including answering calls, handling correspondence, document filing, and coordinating meetings.
  • Communication Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for government agencies such as ACRA, IRAS, and MOM.
Qualifications
  1. Education & Certification: Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Possession of relevant accounting certifications will be an advantage.
  2. Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an investment company setting.
  3. Professional Knowledge:
    • Proficient in Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations.
    • Familiarity with ACRA BizFile+, IRAS portals, and MOM WorkPass systems.
  4. Skills & Competencies:
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
    • Detail-oriented, responsible, with excellent information processing and time management abilities.
  5. Personal Attributes: Proactive, quick learner, capable of flexibly handling both financial and administrative tasks within one role.
