Job summary

Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned finance professional to support multiple business units with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will drive month-end close processes, intercompany reconciliations, and insightful variance analyses to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and Big 4 exposure is preferred. Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and strong MS Office skills are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience gained in Big 4 Audit Firms preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Meticulous, independent and good interpersonal/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to business units, reviewing, analysing and recommending on revenue streams, profitability and cost optimisation.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing including intercompany reconciliations.
• Provide comprehensive actual financial performance vs. budget variance and trend analysis with insightful commentaries monthly.
• Compute key financial indicators to optimise financial decision-making by Business Units.
• Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecast for the Business Units.
• Provide advisory on tax implications and potential tax exposure for existing projects and new opportunities.
• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entities assigned.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on a monthly basis.
• Handle statutory audits, liaising with external auditors.
• Handle GST filings and corporate tax.
• Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures.
• Liaise with internal & external auditors.
• Ad-hoc duties including review of policies and continual process re-engineering.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience gained in Big 4 Audit Firms preferred

• Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is an advantage

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Ability to adapt and work in a fast‑paced environment

• Meticulous and able to work independently
