About the Role

You will be part of the Operation Finance and Reporting Team within the Finance Department, which plays a critical role in delivering timely, accurate, and insightful financial information to support Management’s decision-making.

As a member of the team, you will be actively involved in financial performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting exercises, and the provision of strategic financial insights to support informed business decisions across the Hospital.

In addition, you will be a key contributor in ensuring compliance with Financial Reporting Standards, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines, supporting strong financial governance and stewardship.

You will participate in the discovery, development, and implementation of solutions and initiatives to enhance and optimise existing operational workflows, in tandem with the Hospital’s drive towards transformative, digital, and automated processes.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Perform monthly financial closing activities and conduct financial analysis to identify anomalies, trends, and insights into the Hospital’s operation
  • Support budget preparation and forecasting exercises, including performance monitoring and analysis
  • Act as a key user for the management of subvention funding from Ministry, including tracking, reconciliation, and ensuring appropriate governance and documentation
  • Effective partnering and support to researchers and providing advice on financial matters
  • Apply data analytics and financial information to assess existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend practical solutions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen processes, enhance efficiency, and support informed decision-making
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and timelines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) and exposure to data analytics and AI-enabled toolsis advantageous
