Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts and perform cost accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance and have 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include managing accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and auditing processes. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Excel are essential.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end and year-end closing

• Perform comprehensive cost accounting functions, including standard costing, cost analysis, variance analysis, and inventory valuation

• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, identify cost variances, and provide insights to improve cost efficiency and profitability

• Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and supporting schedules

• Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost capture and reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit processes, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with strong exposure to cost accounting

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

• Proven ability to handle full sets of accounts independently

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in accounting systems (Oracle NetSuite)and Microsoft Excel
