• Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Assist in statutory audit process and resolving audit matters.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Work hours: 9am to 6pm

Hiring Company: A container shipping Company that provides container shipping services with a fleet of owned and leased containers and an expansive network of offices & agencies offering shipping solutions from Far East to Middle East and North & East Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual unconsolidated and consolidated financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements)
• Monitor and analyze financial data, including revenues, liabilities, and expenditures
• Forecast costs and revenues to support budgeting and investment decisions
• Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Conduct internal audits and ensure adherence to financial policies
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
• Assist in developing financial policies and procedures
• Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes
• Assist in statutory audit process and resolving audit matters
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned including but not limited to business partnering duties.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with strong academic performance.
• Professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
