Job summary

A leading educational institution in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting head to oversee all aspects of their accounting and finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing audits, and overseeing compliance with regulatory authorities. Knowledge of tax computation and payroll is essential.

Responsibilities

• Overall in charge of the accounting and finance department.
• Bookkeeping - full set of accounts.
• Preparation of Profit & Loss statements.
• Preparation of Trial Balance.
• Maintenance of General Ledger.
• Preparation of Audit schedule (external auditors).
• Annual returns/AGM filing (submission to regulatory authorities).
• Bank reconciliation.
• Balance sheet for audited/unaudited financial statements.
• Fixed assets listing.
• Account receivable/account payable.
• Tax computation/filing. GST.
• Monthly payroll. CPF submission.
• Financial statements.
• Budget analysis report and cash flow projection.
