Job summary

A leading investment company in Singapore is seeking a Chartered Accountant to handle group consolidation and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accountancy or ACCA, with 3 to 5 years of experience. Responsibilities include preparing group reports, assisting audits, and liaising with finance teams. Strong knowledge of SFRS and experience with SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experiences.
  • Experience with real estate knowledge is an advantage.

Job description
The Role

This position will be responsible for group consolidation and management reporting for the assigned portfolio of companies.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand and is able to prepare and review consolidation proofs such as proofs of hedging reserves, foreign currency translation reserves, investment in associate.
  • Able to prepare group consolidation and various management reports, in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assist team with implementation of new consolidation Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tool, including performance of UATs and parallel runs.
  • Assist team with timely and accurate preparation and analysis of the group financial and management reports.
  • Assist in the annual audit process, tax filing matters as well as any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
  • Other duties include Liaising with the overseas finance team for the submission and analysis of reports and for the group's year-end audit matters.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
Job Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experiences.
  • Well-versed in SFRS, tax regulations and MS Excel.
  • Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge will have an added advantage.
  • Meticulous, ability to work independently as well as being a good team player.
  • Other attributes includes being responsible, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
