Job summary

BIT, headquartered in Singapore, seeks a skilled accounting professional to manage the full accounting cycle, support month- and year-end closes, and assist with regulatory submissions. You will work with auditors, tax and finance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced crypto financial services environment.

2–5 years accounting experience and strong Excel skills are required; Big 4 exposure is welcome. This role offers growth opportunities within BIT's global finance function.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in accounting required with 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience from Big 4 auditors is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare journals, schedules, and reconciliations with supporting calculations.
• Prepare monthly and year-end close processes with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with auditors on annual statutory audits to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with tax team for timely and accurate information and filings.
• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators.
• Monitor financial metrics as required and provide internal stakeholder support.
• Review and implement improvements to financial control processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in ad-hoc finance projects as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on full set of accounts and prepare the necessary (e.g. journals, schedules, reconciliations) with full supporting calculations/documentation/explanations, to ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close processes;

• Prepare/review financial reporting submissions for regulators;
• Monitor financial metrics as required;
• Provide financial/accounting support to relevant internal stakeholders;
• Review, enhance, participate and implement financial control process improvement;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies & procedures and accounting standards;
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects that develop within the Finance Department;
• And any other duties assigned in the finance field.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in accounting with at least 2- 5 years of relevant accounting experience;
• Existing auditors from a Big 4 firm are welcomed;
• Good working attitude;
• Sense of responsibility, self–motivated and resourceful to complete set of responsibilities;
• Well verse in Microsoft Excel;
• Pro‑active and motivated to acquire knowledge;
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills;
• Reliable and results oriented team player;
• Able to work under tight deadlines and stress.
