Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to manage end-to-end AP functions. Responsibilities include handling supplier invoices, reconciliation, and month-end closing. Responsibilities

  • Handle full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) function.
  • Ensure timely completion of supplier invoices.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of supplier’s Statement of Account.
  • Prepare monthly supplier payments and follow up on unpaid invoices.
  • Liaise with operations and suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing.

  • Handle full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) function (50%) and account admin (50%)
  • Ensure all suppliers invoices are completed in an accurate and timely manner (approximate 4000 invoices a month)
  • Responsible for reconciliation of supplier’s Statement of Account
  • Prepare monthly supplier payments & follow up on long outstanding unpaid invoices with the suppliers
  • Liaise with operations and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing and ensure timely submission for review
  • Perform monthly journal entries for AP function
  • Support audit reviews and year-end processes
  • Other administrative duties assigned by immediate superior
Job Requirements
  • Min 1 year of account assistant experience
  • Eye for details, meticulous, high integrity, adaptive to changes
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (e.g. Excel, Word)
