Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial processes and reporting within a construction environment. The ideal candidate should possess a Degree or Diploma in Accountancy and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include overseeing cash management, preparing financial forecasts, and ensuring compliance with GST submissions. Strong experience in using Sage 300 is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare GL journals and manage the monthly financial close process.
  • Cash management planning, including cashflow forecasts.
  • Responsible for inter-company and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial forecasts.
  • Oversee GST submission and reconciliation.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

  • Working Day: 5Day | Mon – Fri 8.30am – 6pm
  • Location: Ang Mo Kio
  • Salary: $4,500 - $5,000

  • At least 3 years working experience in construction environment
  • Must have full set (particularly cashflow) and management reporting experience
  • Experience in Sage 300 (Accpac) would be an advantage.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Prepare GL journals and manage the monthly financial close process in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cash management planning such as review cashflow forecast, ensure sufficient cash balances for operation needs.
  • Responsible for inter-company and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation to ensure items are clear off on timely basis.
  • Prepare financial forecasts.
  • Oversees GST submission and reconciliation.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes and controls as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
