Position objective and summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to provide maternity cover. You will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, ensuring accurate accounts, and supporting business operations with timely financial insights.

Main tasks/activities/responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day finance operations and monthly closing.
  • Prepare management reports, GST submissions, and subsidiaries consolidation schedules.
  • Monitor cash flow, AR collections, and revenue reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise an Accounts Executive and support ad-hoc finance projects.
Key performance measures (KPIs by which the person holding the job should be evaluated)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of management reports and reporting packages.
  • Compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Quality and reliability of financial analysis provided to management.
Job requirements (education, linguistic ability, professional experience, leadership qualities, soft skills, etc.)
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • 4–5 years of relevant working experience, including monthly closing.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures.
