Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, management report and produce budget & forecast according to schedule.
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Plan, assign and review work performed by subordinates to ensure closing timelines are met.
- Assist in audit and taxation matters including liaison with auditors and tax agents.

- Prepare financial statements, management report and produce budget & forecast according to schedule
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Prepare and manage cash flow projection, review cash book
- Plan, assign and review work performed by subordinates ensure closing timelines are met
- Handle and manage inter co transactions
- Assist in monthly reports analysis, quarterly forecast analysis
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Assist in monthly closing journals
- Assist in providing supervision and guidance to the team
- Perform stock take reconciliation and review stock take reconciliation
- Assist in audit and taxation matters include liaison with auditor and tax agent
- Assist in preparing audit report and annual filling of ACRA
- Perform GST reconcile and Quarterly GST filling
- Ad-hoc assignment from AFM or FC
Requirements:
- Degreed in Finance/Accounting/CPA / ACCA or its equivalents
- Possess minimum 3 - 4 years of experience in the commercial accounting field
- Hands-on person and able to work with fast-paced environment and work independently
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
- Experience in month-end/year end close process able to meet tight deadline
- Meticulous and attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, and accounting software
- Experience in retail industry would be advantageous
