Job summary

A leading company in finance in Singapore is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to provide proactive financial services and manage a finance team. The role requires compliance with reporting timelines and company policies, timely submission of financial reports, and effective cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of finance experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. A CPA certification is preferred and immediate availability is required.

Job description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To provide a pro‑active and efficient Accounts service to Singapore entities
  • Compliance to Monthly Reporting Timetable, Finance Manual and Company Policies.
  • Working closely with Senior Accountant and Finance Manager for effective management and control from a financial perspective.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts (CVR), variance analysis reporting Balance sheet reconciliation and other reports as required
  • Ensure timely submission of month end report to Group
  • Monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions
  • Manage finance team (AR,AP,GL) and ensure finance operation is running efficiently
  • Cash flow compliance and reporting.
  • Ownership of proper tax compliances and filing for both direct and indirect taxes in the entities assigned.
  • Collate and review, monthly and year end reconciliation of local entity statutory results to group reporting ensuring that differences, if any, are approved, adequately documented and appropriate
  • Key contact with external auditors and internal auditors in planning, executing and completing audits for the assigned entity/entities.
  • Support budgeting process and participation in other group and regional initiatives.
  • Any additional duties assigned as required.
Job Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification in Finance, Accounting.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • Preferably 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to prioritize and work to tight timeframes
  • Positive attitude and a great team player
  • Previous experience in project accounting will be highly regarded
  • Competent with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Able to start work immediately.
