Job summary

A leading components manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full sets of accounts and oversee month-end closings. The role includes preparing management reports, handling audits, and guiding a team of Accounts Executives. Candidates should possess a diploma in accounting and relevant professional qualifications, along with experience in project costing and ERP systems like Navision or SAP.

Qualifications

Job description

Overview

Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and forecast in accordance to IFRS accounting standards. Handle day to day account operations and be responsible for accounting processes and tasks. Responsible for preparation of monthly management reports including the current month\'s closing results and 3-month forecast. Reconcile intercompany balances/transactions and ensure account reconciliations are performed and reviewed. Prepare weekly cashflow report, bank reconciliation and journal entries. Handle annual audit and tax agent for annual filing. Prepare GST submission and tax filing. Assist in new processes and system implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Able to guide and manage a team of Accounts Executive. Any other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of Accounting and finance principles and practices
• Experience in project costing and accruals
• Good knowledge of ERP systems in general; Navision and SAP knowledge is helpful
• Team player with confidence and maturity to work efficiently with different levels in the organization

Education

• Diploma or equivalent in Accounting
