Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities for entities level accounts and group consolidation in a timely manner.
  • Prepare management reports, financial statements and provide financial analysis with relevant commentaries.
  • Handle statutory filing, business statistics and other types of filing in compliance with local ACRA, tax and legal legislation.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, secretarial and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance with SFRS and company accounting policies.
  • Assist in projects to drive efficiency through cost saving initiatives, including process automation and enhance documentation.
  • Understand and implement internal control, business flow and financial procedures.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification with relevant work experience.
  • Familiar with accounting systems (e.g. Xero), proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Responsible, committed and a good team player with a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in audit and the retail or FMCG industry will be an advantage.
