Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced accountant to maintain full accounts, prepare management reports, and manage annual audits. The ideal candidate has knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems, and experience in project costing. This role requires a team player who can work with various organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices.
• Experience in project costing and accruals.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial forecasts.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle annual audit and tax filing.
• Guide and manage a team of Accounts Executive.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate month‑end closing and forecast in accordance with IFRS accounting standards
• Handle day‑to‑day account operations and be responsible for accounting processes and tasks
• Prepare monthly management reports including current month’s closing results and 3‑month forecast
• Reconcile intercompany balances/transactions and ensure account reconciliations are performed and reviewed
• Prepare weekly cashflow report, bank reconciliation and journal entries
• Handle annual audit and tax agent for annual filing
• Prepare GST submission and tax filing
• Assist in new processes and system implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Guide and manage a team of Accounts Executive
• Perform any other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices
• Experience in project costing and accruals
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (Navision and SAP helpful)
• Team player with confidence and maturity to work efficiently with different levels in the organization
