Position Overview

As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company. You will oversee various accounting functions, including month-end closing, full set accounting, and have meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ability to work under pressure, possess a passion for process improvement, and demonstrate a positive attitude towards their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to Singapore HQ.

  • Perform month-end closing activities which include maintaining of general ledger, posting of journals, bank reconciliation, preparing schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets schedule.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors.

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, as needed.

  • Identify inefficiencies in existing accounting processes and implement technology automation solutions to streamline them.

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.

  • Handle ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in handling full set accounting.
  • Prior experience in the payments industry, settlements, or reconciliation processes is a plus.
