Job summary

Role Overview

The successful candidate will provide accounting support to our Group Finance and work in our Singapore office, reporting to the Finance Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for the management of general accounting activities and the maintenance of effective internal controls, while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting initiatives, covering entities in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting, including financial period close and monthly management accounting (i.e. GL posting, bank and intercompany reconciliations etc)
  • Preparation of schedules and work papers required for audit and annual statutory filing.
  • Handle tax filing matters (i.e. GST, SST, VAT, WHT where applicable) to ensure timely tax submissions according to the requirements of the respective jurisdiction.
  • Handle full spectrum of the annual statutory audit/special audit to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with Group Finance and external stakeholders (i.e. external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, etc) for filing and statutory requirements.
  • Daily administrative support, e.g. proper filing and documentation.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • Good knowledge in corporate accounting, tax regulations (i.e GST, WHT)
  • Good team player with positive working attitude
