We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support management with timely financial analysis and insights to drive business performance across multiple group entities.
Financial Accounting & Reporting
Manage full sets of accounts for Zenova Steel and its subsidiaries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier ledgers, and intercompany accounts.
Budgeting & Cash Flow
Assist in preparing project cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
Monitor project profitability and support the project department with cost tracking.
Maintain accurate records of payments, receipts, and claims.
Audit, Tax & Compliance
Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries.
Ensure compliance with ACRA, IRAS, and MOM regulations.
Prepare GST submissions and ensure accurate CPF, levy, and statutory payments.
Internal Controls & Systems
Implement proper documentation and internal controls over accounting transactions.
Maintain accounting records using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
Support the digitalization of financial processes within the group.
Management Support
Prepare financial summaries and reports for the management team and CFO.
Provide financial input for tender submissions and project evaluations.
Support ad-hoc financial analysis, investment evaluations, and intercompany transactions.
