Job summary

A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a professional for Group Accounts & Reporting. The role involves managing full sets of accounts for multiple entities, preparing consolidation reports, ensuring compliance with financial standards, coordinating tax filing, and overseeing payroll. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including exposure to Malaysia entities, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of full sets accounting experience, prior experience handling Malaysia entity.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts and monthly closing for multiple entities.
  • Prepare group consolidation reports and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in line with FRS/IFRS standards.
  • Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries during annual audit and filing.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for review.
  • Support management with financial data and analysis for business decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
  • Manage corporate tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax filing across regions.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants on cross-border matters.
  • Oversee monthly payroll for Singapore and Malaysia teams.
  • Monitor group cash flow and manage intercompany loans and bank facilities.

Working Hours: 9am to 6pm (Fully Onsite)

Group Accounts & Reporting
  • Handle full set of accounts and monthly closing for multiple entities.
  • Prepare group consolidation reports and ensure accuracy of intercompany transactions.
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in line with FRS/IFRS standards.
  • Work closely with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries during annual audit and filing.
Management Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for review.
  • Support management with financial data and analysis for business decision-making.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises by providing accounting data and variance explanations.
Tax & Compliance
  • Manage corporate tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax filing across regions.
  • Coordinate with external tax consultants on cross-border matters (e.g. Malaysia CP204, Dubai CT).
  • Monitor transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions to ensure arm’s‑length compliance and proper documentation for all entities.
  • Maintain proper documentation to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Payroll & HR Support
  • Oversee monthly payroll for Singapore and Malaysia teams.
  • Ensure CPF, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB submissions are accurate and timely.
  • Work with HR and vendors on payroll reconciliation and related reports.
Treasury, Trade Insurance & Risk Control
  • Monitor group cash flow and manage intercompany loans and bank facilities.
  • Credit limit applications and renewals.
