Job description
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Maintain full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and timely.
  • Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure proper reconciliation.
2. Billing & Payments
  • Prepare customer invoices and follow up on collections.
  • Verify vendor invoices, staff claims, and payment requests before processing.
  • Ensure all payments are properly supported and comply with internal approval procedures.
3. Taxation & Compliance
  • Assist with GST submissions, corporate tax filings, and statutory compliance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities when required.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.
4. Payroll Administration
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees and project-based crew.
  • Verify attendance, leave, overtime, and allowances prior to payroll submission.
  • Handle salary adjustments, bonuses, and termination payments.
  • Ensure accurate statutory submissions — CPF, IR8A, SDL, and other statutory contributions.
  • Coordinate with HR to maintain updated employee and payroll records.
  • Liaise with banks for monthly salary disbursements.
5. Others
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  • Participate in process improvement and internal control enhancement.
  • Handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 year handling payroll.
  • Proficient in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or QuickHR).
  • Knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards, CPF, IRAS, and MOM regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
