Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our retail and repair business. This role will manage daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, GST submissions, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with Singapore regulations and supporting management with accurate, timely financial data. You will work closely with the Director and Operations team to keep a tight control on cash flow, stock movement, and multi-outlet performance.

Responsibilities
  • Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations).
  • Manage daily sales settlement from multiple outlets; reconcile POS with cash/credit collections.
  • Track inventory purchases, trade-in phone stock, and supplier payments.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, and balance sheet.
  • Submit GST returns, liaise with IRAS, auditors, and tax agents.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Strengthen internal financial controls (cash handling, stock valuation, e-waste reporting).
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years’ accounting experience (retail/service industry preferred).
  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Excel.
  • Familiar with GST reporting and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in multi-outlet or inventory-heavy businesses is an advantage.
