Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal vouchers, and account reconciliations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., SFRS, IFRS).
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST submissions and corporate tax filings.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist in process improvements and implementation of internal controls.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Those without Diploma but with more than 10 years of relevant experience will also be considered
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
