Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a self-motivated Accountant to oversee group consolidated reporting and lead the audit process. You will play a key role in financial analysis, compliance with IFRS, and managing the annual budgeting cycle. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance/Accounting and has at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is advantageous.

Overview

Leong Hup Singapore is a leading food manufacturer, providing poultry meats and halal small goods. We are looking for a self-motivated Accountant to join our big family.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate group consolidated reporting for the Group in accordance with IFRS.
• Review & analyse on monthly financial results of the subsidiaries & group.
• Liaise with subsidiaries to prepare monthly and yearly reporting pack to meet group reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Lead audit process and liaise with internal and external auditors to resolve audit matters in a timely manner.
• Review tax computations and liaise with tax agents to ensure compliance.
• Liaise with corporate secretary for annual filling and other related matters.
• Perform financial analysis to support management.
• Manage annual group budgeting cycle (operational, capex), review subsidiaries\' budget and presentation slides.
• Undertake other assignment or ad hoc projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Education and Work Requirements

• Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting software will be an advantage.
• Possess strong technical knowledge in group consolidation and be proficient in SFRS.
• Committed, confident personality with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
