Job summary

A reputable construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage invoicing, collections, and project certification. The ideal candidate should have qualifications in accounting and ideally experience as a Quantity Surveyor. Key responsibilities include maintaining financial records and monitoring project costs. Qualifications

  • Suitably qualified and experienced in Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall company invoicing and collections.
  • Generate monthly report on claims submitted, purchases, and revenue.
  • Monitor live project progress and financial projections.
  • Perform related duties and tasks assigned.

Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join us as an Accounts Executive. This position will play a critical role in delivering the following:

  • Ensure and maintain discipline in projects’ certifications and invoicing process with overall responsibility to track and deliver on timely collections across all in-flight projects.
  • Manage through monitoring and ensuring projects’ actual expenditure are kept within or lower than planning/quoted estimates.
  • Update management on forecast and projections of costs and collections, and provide insights to potential undesirable financial situations.

The role is required to interact closely with various departments’ Quantity Surveyor (QS) and with the management team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage overall company Invoicing & Collections & Project Certification.
  • Generate Company Overall Monthly Report on Claims Submitted, Purchases & Revenue for all Departments to report to the management.
  • Manage overall company live projects progress report (progress of all live projects, awarded projects life cycle and financial projections & costings).
  • Perform related duties and tasks assigned.
  • Monthly project costing progress report for all on‑going live projects.
Requirements
  • Suitably qualified and experienced in Accounting.
  • Preferably experience as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
  • Preferably with working experience in the construction industry in a similar role/position.
