Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly driven and strategically-minded Account Manager based in Singapore to manage and grow relationships with our existing client base across the APAC region. This role is responsible for ensuring client success with our cutting‑edge software and data analytics platforms, driving revenue expansion through strategic upsells and cross‑sells, and securing long‑term contract renewals. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted commercial advisor, deeply understanding client business objectives to maximise the value derived from our solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Strategy & Revenue Growth (Grow)
- Achieve Revenue Targets: Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, focusing on renewal rates, upsell opportunities, and cross‑selling the full portfolio of our data and software products.
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive, data‑driven account plans for all assigned clients, identifying key stakeholders, potential risks, and opportunities for long‑term partnership expansion.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead all commercial negotiations for software subscription renewals and expansion agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and profitable pricing strategies.
2. Client Partnership & Success (Retain)
- Serve as the primary, long‑term commercial point of contact for a portfolio of key accounts, building deep, trust‑based relationships with C‑level executives, IT leadership, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate the realised ROI and value derived from our data platform, aligning platform usage with the client’s strategic business outcomes.
- Anticipate and resolve commercial or operational client issues by coordinating and leveraging internal resources, including Customer Success, Technical Support, and Professional Services teams.
3. Product & Market Expertise
- Solution Selling: Articulate the technical value and business impact of data analytics and software solutions.
- Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and new technology developments within the Singapore and APAC data analytics landscape.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Account Management or Sales within the Software, SaaS, Data Analytics, or Technology industry. Experience in the Singapore/APAC market is highly preferred.
