Account Manager, Omnichannel Sales
Responsibilities
Purpose of this role is to:
- Generate revenue and drive business growth for the company through selling of media solutions
- Expand customer base by growing existing clients and acquiring new ones
- Increase market share
Scope of the role:
- Build relationships with existing clients and agencies
- Prospect new leads
- Identify clients' needs, conduct sales presentations, negotiate terms and close deals
- Understand market/sector insights
Responsibilities :
- Achieve individual target set by the company
- Prepare sales forecasts and monitor sales revenue (TX) to ensure accuracy in monthly sales achievements
- Market and monetize all available inventory across Mediacorp's media platforms through programme sponsorships and other creative media solutions
- Possess basic understanding of Mediacorp's offerings, with an ability to conceptualize ideas, leveraging the strengths of our media to offer value to clients' marketing strategies
- Responsible for all aspects of account management, including developing strong relationships with clients, attending to their business needs and ensuring smooth delivery of media solutions to maintain client satisfaction
- Act as a conduit between clients and internal stakeholders to come up with relevant and effective media solutions to achieve clients' marketing and communication objectives
- Communicate crafted media solutions effectively and persuasively to clients
- Handle objections and resolve any challenges to close sales
- Ensure campaigns are executed smoothly as promised through prompt follow-ups
- Liaise with different internal stakeholders at various points of the sales journey. E.g. Creative team, booking admin, ad‑ops, finance, customer & content group, central marketing, legal etc
For more senior Team Members:
- Provide a consultative approach in understanding and addressing clients' needs
- Work independently to drive growth from existing clients and develop new accounts
- Think strategically to uncover new business opportunities
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma with minimum 5 years' experience in Sales & Marketing environment
- Team player with high level of energy, resourcefulness & business acumen
- Skilled communicator and problem solver
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Attention to details (meticulous) to ensure optimum delivery of campaign
