Job description

The Account Manager is the link between the client and the agency to ensure the client is represented accurately and the agency’s capabilities are demonstrated. You will be responsible for implementing and achieving the client’s tactical marketing plan. This role will be working closely with internal team members and external client personnel to devise campaign plans and tactics. Integral responsibilities include the day to day running of the account, demonstrating strategic potential and insight, and demonstrating a deep understanding of the client’s business.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the client team to create an implementation plan to achieve the client’s campaign objectives.
  • Write creative briefs in line with the client’s campaign objectives, identify key project outcomes and gain client approval.
  • Keep up to date with each campaign’s project and financial status to manage the client’s needs, deliverables and expectations.
  • Act as the main point of contact for managing questions, challenges and project feedback.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly billing and expenses, manage quarterly reconciliations and forecasting, alert management of budgetary issues or concerns.
Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with FMCG or fast retail clients.
  • Attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills.
  • 3‑6 years previous experience of working in an agency is essential.
  • Successful track record of project management to secure sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Sound knowledge of the FMCG or fast retail industries, and an understanding of Tag products and services.
  • Ability to multi‑task, use initiative and have a problem‑solving attitude.
  • Team player who can also be relied on to operate independently and remain focused under pressure.
