Job Description

Lead the accounting team in operational/financial matters.

  • Must be able to do full set of accounts.
  • Oversee daily finance processes and accounting tasks (e.g., AP & AP process, GL, accounts reconciliation etc).
  • Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
  • Improve and streamline financial and internal control procedures for all departments.
  • Support and ensure compliance with GST submission.
  • Plan for annual major assignments such as budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Closely monitor revenue and expenditure and manage the budget.
  • Maintenance and updating the Finance policies and guidelines.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors in the annual statutory audits and Income Tax Returns.
  • Ensure procurement process and procedure in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage and supervise a team of Account and Finance staff.
  • Any other ad-hoc project as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification like ACCA.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required.
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting, including regulatory requirements and latest accounting standards.
  • Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and coach team members, provide advice to functional departments.
  • High integrity and good planning skills.
