Job Description
Lead the accounting team in operational/financial matters.
- Must be able to do full set of accounts.
- Oversee daily finance processes and accounting tasks (e.g., AP & AP process, GL, accounts reconciliation etc).
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
- Improve and streamline financial and internal control procedures for all departments.
- Support and ensure compliance with GST submission.
- Plan for annual major assignments such as budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Closely monitor revenue and expenditure and manage the budget.
- Maintenance and updating the Finance policies and guidelines.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors in the annual statutory audits and Income Tax Returns.
- Ensure procurement process and procedure in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Manage and supervise a team of Account and Finance staff.
- Any other ad-hoc project as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification like ACCA.
- At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required.
- Good knowledge of financial accounting, including regulatory requirements and latest accounting standards.
- Possess good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and coach team members, provide advice to functional departments.
- High integrity and good planning skills.
