Overview

Our Client is in the electronic component trading/ SaaS industry and is looking for Accountant to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete set of accounts and oversee monthly financial closings for multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports for the group and verify the accuracy of intercompany transactions.
• Ensure all month-end and year-end closings are completed on schedule and in accordance with FRS/IFRS standards.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries during annual audits and statutory filings.
• Generate monthly financial statements and management reports for review and analysis.
• Provide financial insights and analytical support to management for strategic and operational decision-making.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by supplying relevant accounting data and variance analyses.
• Handle corporate tax, GST/VAT, and withholding tax submissions across various jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external tax consultants on cross-border tax matters (e.g., Malaysia CP204, Dubai Corporate Tax).
• Oversee transfer pricing arrangements and intercompany transactions to maintain arm’s-length compliance and proper documentation for all subsidiaries.
• Maintain organized documentation to ulfil statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Supervise monthly payroll processing for employees in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Track and manage group cash flow, intercompany loans, and banking facilities.
• Administer and monitor Trade Credit Insurance.

Qualifications

• Possess 3–5 years of relevant experience in managing full sets of accounts and preparing group financial reports.
• Experienced in coordinating audits, ensuring tax compliance, and monitoring transfer pricing activities.
• Skilled in treasury operations, trade credit insurance (e.g., Euler Hermes), and managing intercompany loans.
• Strong knowledge of cross-border accounting practices, payroll processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
