Job description

Hi we're Bud.

We are a PR & Content agency that helps ambitiously disruptive organisations solve complex communications problems. We do this by crafting stories and strategies that build trust, earn fandom and provoke action.

We're looking for a dynamic, curious and collaborative Account Executive or Senior Account Executive, (depending on level of experience) to join our growing regional team.

What you will do
  • Work with a variety of clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies
  • Draw on insights and data to play an important role in our clients’ PR and content strategies
  • Build relationships with journalists and other media contacts
  • Support in growing accounts by understanding our clients’ needs and goals
  • Accelerate your knowledge of how to run a successful press office and help train/coach interns and junior team members
What you will get in return
  • Salary above industry average
  • Mentorship from Buddies who’ve worked for some of the largest brands/agencies globally
  • Flexibility on where you work - 3 day per week in office policy (for Singapore)
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment, in an agency that won PRCA's WorkPlace Champion award and has been nominated three times as a Best Place to Work
  • Programmes in place to accelerate your learning and development - including up to 3 hours a week to study and upskill
  • Progressive range of benefits, including birthdays off, annual office closure, WFH Desk fund, Continuous Learning Programme, monthly early finishes, Snack Fridays and many many more.
  • Healthcare benefits - covering both out- and in-patient
What you need
  • At least 2-3 years agency experience in PR, content, journalism, or integrated communications.
  • A keen interest and passion for technology and media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with a strong ability to form engaging and informative copy that can capture attention for all the right reasons.
  • Ability to foster brilliant relationships with media, clients, team members and stakeholders.
  • Alignment with our agency values:
    • Hustle - We work smart to create exponential outcomes, and embrace challenges like a zen warrior.
    • Playful Curiosity - We’re fascinated by the world around us, and value humility, actions over words and the power of listening.
    • Always Be Growing - We strive to be better, every day.
    • Authenticity - We’re thoroughly good people to work with, and manifest our diverse Rojak spirit through compassion and speaking plainly.
Other reasons to join us
  • Inspiration comes from every direction. We’ve got a flat hierarchy where the best ideas win out, no matter where they come from.
  • Enjoying what we do is as important to us as our commitment to delivering excellence. We’re a people-driven business with an uncompromising focus on building a curious, driven and collaborative team.
  • We have a shared commitment to being socially and environmentally responsible, with company policy examples such as offsetting all flights we take for agency travel.
