A dynamic retail company in Singapore is seeking an Account Executive to manage accounts receivable processes and invoicing. Responsibilities include tracking payments, performing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office, eager to learn, and has a positive attitude. This role offers an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and customer collections.
Assist in monitoring outstanding balances and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations, and update cash balance reports.
Support Accounts Payable (AP) tasks such as preparing payment vouchers and staff claims when required.
Maintain accurate accounting records and proper filing of documents.
Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules for month-end closing.
Provide support during audits and assist in GST submissions or other compliance matters.
Liaise with internal departments and external parties such as banks and auditors as needed.
Requirements:
Microsoft Office (Excel / Words)
Keen to learn, positive attitude
Familiar with accounting in Retail / Manufacturing Industry
