Job summary
A local accounting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to handle full sets of accounts, prepare GST returns, and manage financial reports. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Excel and ABSS accounting software, with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts.
- Prepare and submit GST return quarterly.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate journal entries and monthly reconciliation.
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Effective communication skills
Bilingual in English and Mandarin
Good organization and time management

Job Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts

- Liaise with external auditors to coordinate the company’s financial year end audit
- Maintain good documentation and filing system
- Liaise with bankers when necessary
