About the Role: We are looking for an Account Executive who will grow Planet’s Government sales pipeline and book of business in Government Intelligence, Defense and National Security institutions for South Korea and Taiwan. The ideal candidate is driven, independent, creative in expanding government business, with a proven track record selling to government and defense, and the ability to navigate procurement processes. The role involves identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing large and medium-size deals to drive sales revenue targets. A background in military experience, technical understanding of geo-spatial imagery products (or related field), and knowledge of government customers is preferred.
This role involves developing an extensive pipeline of new sales leads, providing product and sales demonstrations, and formulating appropriate business strategies. The candidate should forecast accurately when managing the incoming pipeline, and be familiar with quota, carrying targets, and closing deals. This is a full-time, remote position based in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia or Australia.
