Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a financial professional to ensure timely completion of financial closing and consolidation. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accountancy and at least 3–5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include managing compliance with IFRS, coordinating with auditors, and providing financial insights to management. Job description
Financial Closing & Group Consolidation
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and yearly financial closing and group consolidation.
  • Maintain full compliance with FRS/IFRS, tax, GST/VAT, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Manage trade credit insurance coverage and minimise credit risk exposure.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and statutory submissions in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Maintain proper accounting controls and documentation for all financial transactions.
  • Provide clear financial insights and reports to management for decision‑making.
External
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and banks for statutory, compliance, and treasury matters.
  • Communicate with insurers on trade credit insurance coverage and claims.
  • Work with government agencies on grants, registrations, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with vendors and customers on finance‑related documentation and payment matters.
Internal
  • Work closely with the Finance and Operations teams across Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team on quotation, invoicing, and credit control matters.
  • Coordinate with Office Manager on payroll reporting.
  • Support management in financial analysis, compliance, and ad‑hoc decision‑making.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting and group reporting.
  • Exposure to multi‑entity and multi‑currency environments, preferably with regional operations (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Taiwan).
  • Hands‑on experience in audit coordination, tax compliance, and transfer pricing monitoring.
  • Experience in treasury management, trade credit insurance and intercompany loan tracking.
  • Good understanding of cross‑border accounting, payroll, and compliance requirements.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or trading industry will be an advantage.
