Job summary

A technology firm in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to lead their accounting operations. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supervising a team of Accounts Assistants. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience and a diploma in Accountancy or equivalent. This role requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail.

About the Role:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to lead our accounting operations. The Accounts Executive will oversee Accounts Assistants, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), issue invoices, prepare customer statements, track rebates, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP), key in supplier invoices/PO/CN, check supplier statements, and prepare PV/cheques for expenses.
  • Create and update new customer accounts, vendor details, and item codes.
  • Supervise Accounts Assistants, assign daily tasks, and review their work.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, GST submissions, and ensure compliance.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and maintain general ledger.
  • Process staff expense claims related transactions.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Handle ad-hoc finance projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
