Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Managing clients' accounts and liaising with clients locally and overseas.
  • Reconciling bank and vendor accounts and processing payments.
  • Preparing timely reports such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

Job description
Job scope:
  • Managing CFO Group's client account and liaise with CFO Group's clients locally or oversea such as China or Malaysia;
  • Reconciling bank and vendor accounts, posting to and balancing the general ledger, processing payments, and compiling segments of monthly or quarterly or yearly closings;
  • Resolving accounting queries and addressing issues that arise from client portfolios;
  • Preparing timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other supporting schedules in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies;
  • Assisting clients in setting up their business flow and handling payroll when required;
  • Ensuring clients' compliance with all statutory obligations;
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Skills and Experience:
  • Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/ Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of working experience in related field and preferred with experience in - maintaining full sets of accounts and in an accounting firm.
  • Fluency in English/Mandarinis essential as the role involves direct communication with our Local/Chinese clients, ensuring effective and accurate exchange of information
  • Knowledge of Xero and/ Quickbook is an added advantage
  • Possess good accounting knowledge.
  • Possess good time management, planning, and organizing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and co-workers.
