Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full set of accounts, oversee junior staff’s bookkeeping, and perform account reviews. Candidates must have at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy, strong Excel skills, and 5+ years of experience in an accounting context. Previous experience in an accounting firm is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Have prior working experience in an Accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Handling full set of accounts including management accounts and bank reconciliation.
• Reviewing of accounts.
• Oversee bookkeeping works of junior staff.

Skills

Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word

Strong knowledge in Excel

Experience with MYOB

Experience with Xero

Supervisory experience

• Other minor administrative functions of the accounts department.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate/Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Some experience in using MYOB and/or Xero software will be an added advantage.
• Have prior working experience in Accounting firm.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Have some supervisory experience.
