Job Scope & Responsibilities
  • Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) functions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial reports and statements.
  • Process journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders for accuracy.
  • Match tax invoices with payment response certificates.
  • Prepare payment vouchers and process online payment transactions.
  • Reconcile creditor statements and retention balances by project.
  • Update payment response and subcontractor accrual lists.
  • Process payments to suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Monitor aging reports, collections, and cash flow.
  • Manage progress claims and coordinate with project teams for billing accuracy.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and fund management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, and audit requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities (GST, CPF, IRAS, etc.).
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and system improvements.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
  • Perform ad‑hoc tasks or assignments as directed by management or the finance department.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of progress billing, retention, and project costing is an advantage.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiar with financial audit processes and Singapore accounting and tax regulations.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
